After a little more than three weeks, I received my renewed permanent resident visa here in Colombia. It had taken a significant amount of my time as I rushed from one office to another only to stand in interminable lines for hours on end; in many cases to be told information I had been given at the previous office was incorrect. Still, for me to be able to get such major paperwork done it less than a month is a major accomplishment. Now I have everything in order for another ten years.
I want to thank all of you who joined me in placing this need before the Lord in your prayers. Now join with me in praising God for this blessing. With the new visa in my passport it is time to get back to the real work here in Colombia. I have the next three weeks planned out with major teaching conferences in three different churches. So the time will be a busy one. But I can dedicate myself to doing that job thanks to having finished the paperwork that is a part of life here in Colombia. Praise be to God!
